Teaching iGCSE Further Maths

This is arguably one of the toughest GCSEs out there!

Here is a snapshot of the typical difficulty of an iGCSE Further Maths exam question. This is a qualification that really stretches the most able mathematicians. It is a fantastic way to push students beyond the limits of the standard GCSE syllabus to explore the kind of mathematics that is often seen at degree level, such as calculus. It is highly recommended that parents seek a tutor who is specifically experienced in tutoring Further Maths. Even able students are likely to struggle with some of the content and, moreover, many maths tutors are unlikely to be completely comfortable with the demands of this course.

I've been tutoring this course for several years and have an excellent track record in the subject, even helping students studying this on their own as an extra qualification. I really enjoy teaching it as it is so rewarding to see the progress students make from being fearful of all the letters and symbols to gaining full marks on exam questions on their own.
